Artists Exhibiting Now

Work on display this month at the Gallery includes:  Wayne Ford (watercolour), Julie Hodgson (oil), Patsy Birks (textile/mixed media), Viv Rainsbury (acrylics), Gillian Southgate (acrylics and copper), Ruth Straughan (stained glass), David Green (pastel landscapes), Ruth Church (watercolour/pastel), Margaret Bailey (oil), Danica Bloomfield (various media), Ann Feavers (painting on glass), Roger Burnay (pastel wildlife), Vivienne Tuddenham and Marianne Charlesworth (textiles/embroidery) and Dee Pozyczka (watercolour, gouache).

CLASS: Drawing Classes with Lorraine Auton  (suitable for all levels)

Developing and exploring observational drawing techniques. Each session has a different subject so you can join in at any time. 

Sessions are flexible and tailored to the individual needs of the students.

Session 4:  Focus on pastels. Techniques used to create a wintery scene using pastels and chalks.

Time:  7pm to 8:30pm.

Cost:  £10

CLASS: Drawing Classes with Lorraine Auton  (suitable for all levels)

Developing and exploring observational drawing techniques. Each session has a different subject so you can join in at any time. 

Sessions are flexible and tailored to the individual needs of the students.

Session 5:  Engraving. Use drawing skills to mark out where to remove the black layer on a blank scraperboard to reveal the white underlayer, giving a white on black image. Techniques used will be drawing and engraving skills and working in negative.

Time:  7pm to 8:30pm.

Cost:  £15, due to materials involved.
